There are three Cliff Houses at Matu Luxe, and each one exists for a single purpose: to give you the mountain, uninterrupted. Set on a dramatic outcrop above the gorge, these are our most secluded and sought-after stays, built for travellers, and especially couples, who want privacy measured not in walls, but in distance from everyone else.

The Experience
Step out of bed and the valley is already waiting for you. Cliff Houses open directly onto panoramic, uninterrupted views of the mist-shrouded peaks of the Dibang Valley, no shared decks, no neighbouring structures in view, just rock, sky, and the slow drift of cloud below eye level. Mornings here begin with the kind of silence that has weight. Evenings end with the valley disappearing into darkness, one ridge at a time, while you watch from your own private ledge above it all. Built into the landform rather than against it, each hut uses the natural contour of the cliff edge, so the architecture recedes and the view stays the protagonist.
